Some honeymoons are about ticking off landmarks. This one is about doing very little, very well. Three nights in Hoi An give you lantern-lit evenings, tailor-made silk and a cooking class by the river. Then you fly south to Phu Quoc for six nights of warm sand, turquoise water and long, lazy sunsets over the Gulf of Thailand.
Two destinations, one flight and almost no packing. Every transfer, every check-in and every recommendation is sorted before you arrive, so the hardest decision you'll face is whether to read your book by the pool or on the beach.

Fly into Da Nang and transfer to your riverside hotel in Hoi An (30 minutes). Spend the afternoon wandering the Ancient Town's narrow lanes, ducking into tailor shops and sipping ca phe sua da at a street-side cafe. Welcome dinner at a candlelit restaurant on Bach Dang waterfront.
Morning cooking class at a riverside school. Pick herbs at Tra Que village, then prepare spring rolls, cao lau and banana flower salad together. Afternoon free for tailor fittings, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Chinese assembly halls. Evening lantern-boat ride on the Thu Bon River.
Morning on An Bang Beach. Swim, read or book a couples' massage at a beachside pavilion. Afternoon free for final tailor pickups and market browsing. Farewell dinner at a seafood restaurant on the sand with the fishing boats lit up offshore.
Morning flight from Da Nang to Phu Quoc via a short connection. Check into your beachfront resort by early afternoon and spend the rest of the day settling in. First swim, first cocktail, first sunset on Long Beach.
Speedboat south to the An Thoi archipelago for a snorkelling morning over shallow coral. Lunch grilled on a quiet beach with nothing around but palms and clear water. Return to the resort mid-afternoon for a nap by the pool or another dip in the sea.
Rent a scooter or hire a driver and explore the island. Visit the Suoi Tranh waterfall, taste fish sauce at a traditional distillery and ride through pepper plantations. Evening at the Dinh Cau night market for grilled scallops, sea urchin and coconut ice cream.
Nothing planned. Kayak along Ong Lang Beach, book a couples' spa treatment at the resort or simply read in a hammock under the coconut palms. This is your day to do as little as you like.
Another free day on the island. Try stand-up paddleboarding, explore the northern fishing villages by bicycle or stay exactly where you are. Late afternoon visit to Bai Sao, where the shallows are dotted with orange starfish.
Morning at the resort pool. Afternoon at leisure for final beach time, last-minute shopping at the night market or a sunset walk along Long Beach. Farewell dinner on the sand with the Gulf of Thailand glowing on the horizon.
Fly from Phu Quoc to Ho Chi Minh City and connect with your international flight. Ten days of coast and calm, done. If you want to keep going, we can add a Saigon city break or a Mekong Delta day before you fly home.
